About this fabric

Carrera Iron from the Carrera collection by J Brown is a plain 100% polyester fabric with a contract use classification and an impressive 80,000 Martindale rating. The swatch shows a cool iron-grey ground with subtle tonal variation, giving the surface a softly weathered look rather than a flat, uniform finish. Its compact weave and gently reflective highlights make it feel tailored and resilient, well suited to hard-working seating and commercial schemes. Supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, it can be professionally cleaned in situ or washed at 40℃, with further treatments available on request.

How to use it

Use this iron grey to give banquettes, dining chairs, and benches a crisp, contemporary edge. It works especially well with pale oak, black metalwork, and soft off-whites for a restrained smart scheme.
