About this fabric

This colourway sits in a muted taupe-brown family, with cooler grey-brown shadows and lighter beige highlights moving across the surface. It is a plain from the Carrera collection by J Brown, made in 100% polyester and specified for contract use. With an 80,000 Martindale result, it is built for hard-working upholstery, while the visible texture keeps the finish soft and welcoming. The after-care allows professional cleaning in situ or washing at 40℃, and the fabric is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request.

How to use it

Use Carrera Mink on banquettes, dining chairs or a tailored sofa where a grounded neutral is needed without looking stark. Its warm taupe tone works especially well beside oak, dark bronze and earthy greens.

A subtle, contract-grade neutral with a softly mottled surface that pairs easily with timber, stone and deeper accent tones.
