Buteo Taupe

Gustav FabricJ0212-07

Buteo Taupe shows a tightly worked geometric weave in a soft, earthy taupe that reads warm and quietly textured. The small-scale pattern gives the surface subtle movement without breaking up the overall calm, tonal look.

About this fabric

Woven in 55% viscose, 33% polyester, 8% cotton and 4% linen, this fabric has a refined, lightly tactile handle that suits both upholstery and drapery. The design is shown here in a warm mushroom taupe, with paler beige flecks lifting the surface and giving it a softly mottled depth. Its small geometric repeat, measuring approximately V 7cm / H 6cm, creates a neat, structured rhythm rather than a bold statement. At approximately 138cm wide and carrying fire code K, it is a practical, versatile choice for tailored interiors.

How to use it

Use Buteo Taupe on a simple armchair, bench or Roman blind where the compact pattern can add texture without dominating. Its warm neutral tone sits well with oak, smoked timber, chalky paint shades and layered natural fabrics.

Pair this muted taupe with natural woods and linen for an easy tailored look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
