Capella Mink

Gustav FabricJ785F-10

Capella Mink is a soft, understated neutral with a gentle satin-like glow and a calm, mink-brown warmth. Its surface reads smooth and quietly tonal in the light, with just enough depth to stop it looking flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 56% viscose, 25% polyester and 19% cotton, Capella Mink has a supple, lightly lustrous handle that suits both curtains and upholstery. The colour sits between beige and taupe, with a warm mink cast that feels richer than a simple stone and softer than a true brown. Its plain surface is finely textured rather than completely flat, so the light picks up a delicate sheen across the cloth. With a repeat of V 19cm / H 17cm approx and a width of 136cm approx, it offers a balanced, versatile scale for coordinated schemes.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe beside oak, textured linen and bronzed metal for a layered, easy-living look. It also works well as a calm foundation in rooms that need a neutral with a little more depth than cream.

A refined neutral that brings quiet warmth to both tailored upholstery and elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
