Fulmar Blue

Gustav FabricJ0213-02

Fulmar Blue shows the Gustav design as a tightly worked small-scale geometric weave in a cool blue-green palette. The tiny squares give the surface a neat, structured look with a subtly textured finish.

About this fabric

Fulmar Blue from Jane Churchill’s Gustav collection is a 138cm-wide fabric composed of 43% viscose, 32% cotton and 25% polyester. The swatch reads as a muted teal-blue with a slightly heathered depth, so the pattern feels crisp without looking harsh. Its small repeat, measured at approximately V 3cm / H 3cm, creates a steady grid that suits tailored interiors. The weave has enough substance for upholstery, while the cotton-viscose blend keeps the colour soft and gently lifted in the light.

How to use it

Use this cool blue-green on a slim chair, ottoman or occasional sofa where the small geometric repeat can read clearly. It pairs well with pale oak, chalky neutrals and brushed metals for a smart, understated room scheme.

A cool teal weave that feels crisp and tailored on clean-lined upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
