Magma Heath

Flow Fabric

Magma Heath is a deep, muted blue-green woven textile from Kirkby Design’s Flow collection. Its close surface is animated by tiny tonal flecks, giving the colour a subtly heathered depth rather than a flat block of green.

About this fabric

The swatch reads as a cool, dark blue-green, with charcoal-like threads tempering the colour and creating a quietly atmospheric finish. A fine, tightly woven texture is visible across the surface, with small irregular flecks that catch the light without forming a defined motif. The even, substantial-looking weave makes this colourway particularly convincing for upholstered furniture, where its depth can sit comfortably against softer neutrals or warm timber.

How to use it

Use Magma Heath on a compact sofa, occasional chair or bench to introduce a grounded blue-green note, then lift it with chalky cream, pale timber or brushed metal. Its restrained tonal variation also works well with charcoal and other deep, softened shades.

Its deep, muted blue-green tone brings quiet depth to upholstered seating and cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
