About this fabric

The swatch is covered in a small, regular grid of fine horizontal and vertical lines, creating gently raised rectangular cells across the surface. Its mallard tone sits between deep teal and softened forest green, with the darker colour giving the weave a calm, enveloping depth. Subtle shifts in the surface catch the light across the grid, preventing the dark shade from appearing flat. No additional performance or composition specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Merlon Mallard on a neatly tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat where its deep blue-green tone can act as a grounding colour. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and quieter neutral textiles to bring out the woven texture without competing with its small-scale grid.
