Merlon Bloom

Heir Fabric

Merlon Bloom is shown here in a deep burgundy red, with a softly dimensional grid texture running across the surface. Its subdued red-brown cast gives the colour a warm, grounded presence rather than a bright or vivid finish.

About this fabric

The close-up reveals a compact, regular grid formed by fine raised lines, creating a subtly cushioned surface and gentle tonal variation. Burgundy, russet and dusky red notes sit together across the weave, while the texture catches the light in narrow, softly shaded bands. The fabric is catalogued as a textile and no performance features are noted in the supplied specification. Its visually substantial woven surface makes this colourway particularly suited to upholstery where tactile depth is wanted.

How to use it

Use Merlon Bloom on a statement armchair, bench or sofa to introduce a warm burgundy accent without the intensity of a clear scarlet red. Pair it with aged timber, smoked oak, warm neutrals and antique brass to draw out its dusky, earthy character.

Use this deep burgundy red to bring warmth and richly textured depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
