About this fabric

The colour sits between deep wine and muted plum, with darker edges and softly illuminated centres across the hexagonal motif. The raised, velvety-looking texture gives the pattern a sculptural, almost padded appearance without introducing a contrasting colour. Its dense visual weight and low sheen make it especially suited to upholstery where the geometric surface can be appreciated at close range. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification, so this colourway’s character comes chiefly from its dark tone, tactile relief and repeating honeycomb structure.

How to use it

Pair Cloud Fig with warm timber, antique brass and soft mushroom neutrals to balance its cool wine-plum depth. It works particularly well as a statement upholstery on a curved chair, bench or compact sofa.

Use this plush burgundy textile to bring rich depth and tactile pattern to an occasional chair, headboard or statement sofa.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
