Crush Ii Claret

Crush Ii Fabric

Crush II Claret is a profoundly dark claret red, appearing almost black in the deeper areas of this swatch. Its surface has a quiet, low-contrast texture rather than a visible printed motif.

About this fabric

The colour sits at the deepest end of the red spectrum, with wine and burgundy undertones that give it a warm, intimate presence. Subtle tonal variation across the surface prevents the swatch from reading as completely flat, while no distinct pattern is visible at this scale. The dense-looking, softly textured face makes this textile read as an upholstery-led fabric. No composition, width, rub test or other performance specification has been supplied for this exact colourway.

How to use it

Pair this near-black claret with aged timber, smoked glass and warm metallic accents for a cocooning, evening-toned scheme. It also works as a deep accent on a single occasional chair or ottoman where its saturated red undertone can stand alone.

Use the near-black claret tone to add enveloping depth to a tailored chair, sofa or ottoman.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
