About this fabric

Woven in 54% viscose and 46% polyester, this velvet combines a soft, reflective face with the durability expected of a severe contract fabric. The 138cm usable width and 100,000 Martindale rub rating make it suitable for hard-working interiors, while FR treatment means it can be prepared for both drapery and upholstery use. In this colourway, the claret tone reads warm and насыщенный, with lighter highlights catching on the pattern’s ridges and deeper wine notes pooling in the folds. The 18cm horizontal and 17cm vertical repeat create a bold geometric rhythm that feels decorative and contemporary at the same time.

How to use it

Pair this claret velvet with dark wood, brushed brass and warm neutrals for a layered, luxurious scheme. It works especially well on a feature chair or full-height curtains where the sheen and pattern can be seen from a distance.
