About this fabric

This Infinity Velvets design is a velvet with a substantial 138 cm usable width and a 100,000 Martindale abrasion result, making it suited to severe contract upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. The surface reads as a rich navy-black in the shadows, with lighter blue highlights appearing where the pile turns and the pattern lifts. Its 54% viscose and 46% polyester composition gives the cloth a smooth, lustrous handle and a distinctly plush finish. The repeating angular motif, set on an 18 cm horizontal and 17 cm vertical repeat, brings a bold architectural rhythm to the cloth without losing the softness of velvet.

How to use it

This midnight colourway works well on a tailored sofa, accent chair or upholstered headboard where the geometric sheen can be seen in changing light. Pair it with brushed brass, smoked glass or pale timber to balance the depth of the blue.

Use on statement seating or rich drapery for a dramatic, hotel-style finish.
