About this fabric

Blanik Midnight sits at the deepest end of the blue palette, reading almost black where the pile turns away from the light and more clearly navy on raised ridges. The close, brushed texture forms subtle vertical and diagonal striations rather than a printed motif. Its plush, weighty-looking drape and controlled sheen give this colourway a luxe, upholstery-led presence. No composition, width, rub-test or other performance specification is supplied for this listing.

How to use it

Use this almost-black navy on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its plush surface can catch changing light. Balance the depth with warm timber, aged brass or softly textured neutral furnishings.

Use this near-black navy fabric to bring plush depth and a softly directional sheen to statement upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
