Blanik Denim

Blanik Fabric

Blanik Denim is a deep, near-black denim blue with a softly brushed surface that shifts subtly as the pile catches the light. The gathered folds reveal cooler blue highlights against its dense, shadowed ground.

About this fabric

Catalogued as a fabric, Blanik Denim has a visibly plush, raised pile with fine directional shading across the surface. Its cool denim tone reads almost charcoal in the deepest folds, while the lifted ridges show a muted blue sheen. The softly crushed appearance gives this colourway a luxurious, tactile presence particularly suited to upholstered seating and statement furniture.

How to use it

Pair Blanik Denim with pale oak, smoked timber or warm brass to offset its cool, inky depth. It works especially well on a sculptural chair, headboard or occasional sofa where the pile can catch changing light.

Use its near-black denim depth to bring drama and plush texture to statement upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
