About this fabric

Beaufort Navy Blue presents a near-ink navy ground, with tiny tonal flecks that soften its otherwise deep, almost charcoal appearance. The close, nubby-looking surface catches light unevenly, revealing faint blue variation rather than reading as a completely flat solid. No composition, width, rub-test or other performance specification is supplied for this colourway. With no performance features noted, its dense-looking textile face is best assessed visually for an upholstery project.

How to use it

Use this ink-dark navy on a statement armchair, sofa or ottoman where its charcoal undertone can anchor lighter walls and warm timber. Pair it with soft stone, aged brass or muted blue accents to bring out the subtle tonal variation in the weave.

Use this charcoal-leaning navy to give upholstered furniture a grounded, quietly tailored finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
