About this fabric

The swatch shows a fine corded texture, with narrow raised ribs creating a strong vertical rhythm rather than a printed pattern. Nuit reads as an ink navy: cooler and deeper than a standard mid-blue, with subtle tonal variation where the light catches the ribbed surface. The closely packed texture gives the fabric a structured, tailored appearance well suited to upholstered forms. No composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Sculpt Nuit on a contemporary sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its deep blue tone can anchor pale stone, grey or warm timber finishes. The vertical ribbing adds quiet definition without introducing a busy motif.

Use this deep ink-navy ribbed fabric to give upholstery a tailored, architectural finish.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sculpt Nuit without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
