Sculpt Elm is a warm taupe-brown textile with closely spaced vertical ribs running evenly across the face. Its muted elm tone shifts subtly between brown and grey as the raised lines catch the light.

About this fabric

This fabric is catalogued as a textile fabric, with no further composition, width or performance specification supplied. The surface is defined by a dense, narrow-ribbed construction rather than a printed motif, giving the plain colour visible directional texture. Its warm taupe-brown shade has a softened, earthy quality, while the fine ridges create delicate bands of light and shadow. The substantial-looking, structured surface makes this colourway best suited to upholstery where its quiet relief can be seen across a chair, headboard or sofa.

How to use it

Use Sculpt Elm on a tailored armchair, sofa or headboard where the warm taupe-brown tone can soften darker timber and charcoal accents. Keep surrounding fabrics relatively plain so the fine vertical rib remains the main source of visual texture.
