About this fabric

This Harlequin fabric combines warm brown, taupe and muted grey tones in a tightly woven crosshatch that gives the surface gentle depth rather than a flat solid colour. The fine vertical and horizontal threads are clearly visible in the swatch, with subtle shifts in light across the weave. At 394gsm and 143cm usable width, it has the substantial presence expected of an upholstery textile. Its 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats confirm the design is a non-directional plain weave rather than a repeating motif.

How to use it

Use Mineral Carob on sofas, armchairs or dining seats where its warm taupe-brown tone can soften darker timber and complement stone, oatmeal and aged metal finishes. Its restrained crosshatch texture also works well with patterned cushions without introducing another strong motif.

A warm carob-toned woven texture for upholstered seating and tailored furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
