About this fabric

This Harlequin fabric is 143cm wide and weighs 394gsm, giving the visible weave a substantial upholstery character. Fine intersecting yarns form a softly grainy surface, while slightly darker and lighter threads create understated vertical striation through the beige tone. There is no recorded pattern repeat vertically or horizontally, so the quiet woven texture can be positioned freely across a piece. The 17 threads per cm specification reflects the closely constructed appearance seen in the swatch.

How to use it

Use Mineral Clay on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its warm neutral clay tone can soften darker timber, stone and woven natural accents. Pair it with chalky whites and muted olive or brown for a calm, earthy scheme.

A substantial, softly striated beige weave for relaxed upholstery with natural warmth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
