About this fabric

The shade sits between warm charcoal and muted brown, with subtle tonal variation visible across the tightly woven surface. A fine crosshatch formed by the interlacing threads adds a softly tactile, linen-like character without creating a repeat or overt motif. At 394 gsm and 17 threads per cm, this is a substantial fabric well suited to upholstery. The 143 cm usable width provides practical coverage for furniture projects, while the 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make matching straightforward.

How to use it

Use Mineral Bear on a sofa, dining chair or ottoman where its smoky brown-taupe tone can ground warmer woods, natural stone and soft cream textiles. Its quiet woven texture also works well alongside charcoal, olive or muted rust accents.

A substantial smoky taupe-brown weave for tailored upholstery, pairing easily with warm timber, stone and charcoal accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
