About this fabric

The close-up shows a dense, evenly structured weave in soft taupe, brown and grey tones, with small light flecks catching across the surface. Its 394 gsm weight gives the cloth a substantial, grounded presence suited to upholstery. At 17 threads per cm, the weave has a fine, closely built appearance while retaining the tactile irregularity of a basket construction. The usable width is 143 cm, and both pattern repeats are 0 cm, making this a straightforward plain fabric to position across upholstered forms.

How to use it

Use this cool, mineral taupe on a relaxed sofa, dining chair or headboard where its subdued colour can soften darker timber and complement stone, chalk and warm off-white finishes. Layer it with woven neutrals for tonal depth rather than relying on contrast.
