About this fabric

This velvet from the Infinity collection is made from 54% viscose and 46% polyester, with a usable width of 138cm and a 100000 Martindale rub test, so it is specified for severe contract upholstery as well as accessories and drapery. The colourway appears as a warm taupe with brown undertones, lifted by pale highlights where the pile reflects the light. Its abstract wavy motif has a 18cm horizontal repeat and 17cm vertical repeat, creating a medium-scale rhythm that is visible without feeling busy. The overall effect is smart and grounded, with the velvet sheen adding depth to the muted neutral base. It is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery.

How to use it

Use this taupe velvet on an accent chair, banquette or cushions where the patterned pile can read up close. It also works well in layered schemes with stone, cocoa and soft cream finishes.
