Infinity Velvets Orbit Azure Wavy

Infinity Velvets Orbit Azure Wavy brings a fluid, sculptural pattern to a soft neutral ground. The raised velvet movement reads as cool azure blue, giving the design a fresh, polished contrast.

About this fabric

This velvet is woven in 54% viscose and 46% polyester, with a usable width of 138cm and a martindale of 100000, so it is specified for severe contract upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. In this colourway, the wavy motif appears in a soft azure blue with a slightly greenish cast, sitting over a warm beige ground that keeps the overall effect light rather than heavy. The pile catches the light with a gentle sheen, which makes the curves feel more fluid and dimensional across the surface. It is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, making it a practical choice where both finish and performance matter.

How to use it

Use it to bring a cool accent into a scheme of sand, chalk and pale timber, where the blue-green velvet lines can stand out without feeling harsh. It works especially well on statement seating or relaxed curtains that need pattern, movement and a touch of sheen.

The cool azure velvet motif lifts easily against the neutral ground for a crisp, contemporary finish.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Infinity Velvets Orbit Azure Wavy without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
