About this fabric

This velvet is woven in 54% viscose and 46% polyester, with a usable width of 138cm and a martindale of 100000, so it is specified for severe contract upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. In this colourway, the wavy motif appears in a soft azure blue with a slightly greenish cast, sitting over a warm beige ground that keeps the overall effect light rather than heavy. The pile catches the light with a gentle sheen, which makes the curves feel more fluid and dimensional across the surface. It is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, making it a practical choice where both finish and performance matter.

How to use it

Use it to bring a cool accent into a scheme of sand, chalk and pale timber, where the blue-green velvet lines can stand out without feeling harsh. It works especially well on statement seating or relaxed curtains that need pattern, movement and a touch of sheen.
