About this fabric

This velvet from the Infinity collection is composed of 54% viscose and 46% polyester, with a usable width of 138cm and a heavyweight feel suited to both upholstery and drapery. The design has a large 18cm horizontal repeat and 17cm vertical repeat, creating a bold interlaced pattern that reads clearly across the cloth. In this colourway, the navy tone feels cool, inky and slightly softened rather than bright, which makes the ivory ground look cleaner and more open. With a Martindale rating of 100,000 and Severe Contract upholstery grade, it is built for hard-wearing seating as well as statement curtains or accessories. It is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, adding practical flexibility for contract and residential schemes.

How to use it

The crisp ivory ground and dark navy loops work well with painted timber, brass details and pale stone finishes. Use it where you want a graphic velvet that feels smart rather than overly formal, especially in rooms with plenty of natural light.

Use with pale neutrals for contrast, or layer with dark woods for a more dramatic finish.
