Infinity Velvets Mandal Teal Flat

Infinity Velvets Velvet

Mandal Teal Flat is a bold abstract velvet with a broken, painterly surface effect in deep teal against a soft ivory ground. The short pile gives the pattern a slightly mottled edge, which keeps the design feeling lively rather than graphic.

About this fabric

This iliv velvet is woven in 54% viscose and 46% polyester, with a usable width of 138cm and a severe contract upholstery grade. The visible design is a small-scale, irregular block pattern that reads as layered brush marks in deep teal, sitting on a warm ivory base. Its 100,000 Martindale rating makes it well suited to hard-working seating, while the treatable FR specification allows use for both drapery and upholstery. The colourway feels cool and clean rather than bright, with enough depth in the teal to hold its own on larger pieces.

How to use it

Pair this teal-and-ivory velvet with pale oak, chalky paint colours and brushed metal for a smart contemporary scheme. It works especially well on compact sofas, accent chairs or boxed cushions where the pattern can be seen clearly.

Use it to add crisp pattern and a cool, tailored feel to compact seating or statement cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Infinity Velvets Mandal Teal Flat without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
