About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, CLAYTON Teal 2 has a smooth, close texture that reads as a versatile mid-weight fabric rather than a lightweight sheer. It is 140cm wide and carries a 20,000 Martindale, making it suitable for general domestic upholstery as well as drapery, accessories and other soft furnishings. The colour has a deep blue-green cast with a slightly muted, velvety look in the shadows and a brighter teal sheen where the light catches the surface. With no pattern repeat, it offers a clean, contemporary finish and can be treated for FR drapery and upholstery.

How to use it

Use this teal on an accent chair, ottoman or curtain panels where its saturated colour can anchor a scheme. It works especially well with oak, walnut, black metal and pale neutrals for contrast.

Pair with warm woods or brass to balance its cool, jewel-like depth.
