About this fabric

This velvet from the Infinity collection is woven in 54% viscose and 46% polyester, with a usable width of 138 cm and a 100,000 Martindale rub test, making it suitable for severe contract upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. The design shows vertical, slightly undulating stripes in muted teal, pale ivory and fine ochre-gold highlights, creating a layered, textural surface that catches the light unevenly. The velvet pile gives the stripes a soft depth, so the cooler teal reads richer where the pile turns and lighter where the sheen lifts. With an 18 cm horizontal repeat and 17 cm vertical repeat, the pattern feels measured and graphic without becoming rigid. It is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery.

How to use it

The cool teal base works well with pale oak, chalk whites and brushed brass, especially in rooms that want pattern without strong contrast. Use it on an accent chair, headboard or full-length curtains to bring movement and a polished but relaxed feel.

Use in tailored upholstery or lined drapery for a crisp, contemporary finish.
