Infinity Velvets Kaleido Teal Wavy

Infinity Velvets Kaleido Teal Wavy has a crisp, rhythmic look, with wavy vertical bands broken up by soft velvet sheen. The teal, cream and warm gold accents feel cool and contemporary rather than heavy.

About this fabric

This velvet from the Infinity collection is woven in 54% viscose and 46% polyester, with a usable width of 138 cm and a 100,000 Martindale rub test, making it suitable for severe contract upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. The design shows vertical, slightly undulating stripes in muted teal, pale ivory and fine ochre-gold highlights, creating a layered, textural surface that catches the light unevenly. The velvet pile gives the stripes a soft depth, so the cooler teal reads richer where the pile turns and lighter where the sheen lifts. With an 18 cm horizontal repeat and 17 cm vertical repeat, the pattern feels measured and graphic without becoming rigid. It is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery.

How to use it

The cool teal base works well with pale oak, chalk whites and brushed brass, especially in rooms that want pattern without strong contrast. Use it on an accent chair, headboard or full-length curtains to bring movement and a polished but relaxed feel.

Use in tailored upholstery or lined drapery for a crisp, contemporary finish.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Infinity Velvets Kaleido Teal Wavy without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
