About this fabric

This velvet from the Infinity collection is woven in 54% viscose and 46% polyester, with a usable width of 138cm and a severe contract upholstery grade. The 100,000 Martindale result underlines its suitability for hard-working seating, while it can also be treated for FR use in drapery and upholstery. Visually, the colourway reads as a rich midnight blue with a cool, inky base and a lighter, chalky motif that breaks up the surface in a dry, textured way. The repeating wavy pattern feels rhythmic rather than bold, and the velvet pile gives the dark ground a soft sheen where the light hits the folds.

How to use it

Use this colourway on tailored chairs, a statement ottoman or banquette seating where the dark blue can add depth without feeling flat. It also works well alongside pale oak, ivory linen and brushed metal to sharpen the graphic pattern.
