About this fabric

This colourway reads as a golden saffron velvet with earthy depth, where the raised pattern catches the light against a lighter ground for a textured, broken-in look. The design is woven in 54% viscose and 46% polyester, giving the surface a plush velvet handle with a gentle sheen rather than a flat finish. With a usable width of 138cm and a horizontal repeat of 18cm by 17cm vertically, it has the scale and rhythm to show clearly on larger pieces. Rated to 100,000 Martindale and specified as Severe Contract upholstery, it is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, making it suitable for demanding interiors.

How to use it

Use this saffron tone to warm walnut, smoked oak or bronze finishes, where its golden-brown depth will feel especially rich. It works well on statement armchairs, banquettes or full-length curtains when you want pattern and colour without harsh contrast.
