About this fabric

The design is arranged in repeating symmetrical panels, with ornate acanthus-like leaves, curling tendrils and small floral details picked out in a lighter thread against the gold ground. Light moves gently across the dense motif, revealing a textile texture that feels richly woven without looking glossy. With a usable width of 140 cm and a 230 gsm weight, it is a versatile mid-weight choice for both upholstery and drapery. The vertical repeat is 58 cm and the horizontal repeat is 70 cm, while the supplied construction is recorded at 216 threads per cm.

How to use it

Pair this warm gold colourway with aged timber, ivory linens and softly chalky walls to let the pale damask detail lift the deeper ground. It also works well on a traditional chair or full-length curtain where the 58 cm repeat can be appreciated across the surface.
