About this fabric

This substantial 625 gsm fabric has a 141 cm usable width and a pronounced 115.5 cm vertical by 70 cm horizontal pattern repeat. In the image, antique-gold and soft cream threads create a softly contrasted damask, with the lighter motifs catching the eye against the deeper ground. Tall stylised floral urns anchor the design, surrounded by feathery foliage, small central blooms and patterned rounded forms. With 132 threads per centimetre, the closely detailed surface is well suited to upholstery that benefits from a formal, heritage-inspired presence.

How to use it

Use Fitzrovia Gold on a statement armchair, headboard or occasional sofa where its warm antique-gold tone can sit alongside ivory, walnut and softly aged brass. Keep surrounding textiles quieter so the 115.5 cm repeat remains the room’s principal decorative feature.
