Phaedra Fabrics FabricZOF0065-01

About this fabric

At 625 gsm, this is a substantial woven cloth with the visual density expected of a statement upholstery textile. Its 141 cm usable width gives the large-scale design room to read across furniture, while the 115.5 cm vertical and 70 cm horizontal repeats define the placement of the central urns, foliage and scrolling motifs. The bronze-taupe ground feels mellow rather than bright, with the lighter threads picking out the botanical forms in a softly contrasting, almost patinated finish. A construction of 132 threads per cm supports the closely detailed appearance visible across the swatch, and the standard length is 25 m.

How to use it

Use Fitzrovia Antique Bronze on a classic armchair, sofa or ottoman where its warm taupe-bronze depth can complement aged timber, darker walnut and softly coloured walls. Centre the urn or fan motifs on broad upholstered panels to make the 115.5 cm repeat part of the design statement.

Use the warm taupe-bronze ground and pale woven damask to bring layered, formal depth to upholstered seating and statement furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
