About this fabric

This colourway is a plain velvet in a muted, muddy taupe, reading warmer and deeper than a straightforward grey while retaining a quiet, softened character. The visible nap catches the light subtly, creating delicate tonal variation across the swatch rather than a strong sheen. At 556 gsm, the cloth has a substantial weight suited to upholstery, and its 134 cm usable width provides practical coverage. With 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats, there is no motif to match or centre; the supplied construction is 51.5 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use Muddy Warren on a substantial armchair, sofa or footstool where its warm taupe depth can sit alongside natural timber, aged leather and softly contrasting creams. The plain surface also works well when a room already contains patterned curtains or cushions.
