Wardle Velvet Mumington`s Stem
Wardle Velvets VelvetMOF0191-10
Wardle Velvet Mumington's Stem appears as a calm, muted sage green with a softly textured velvet surface. The even colour lets the pile create subtle shifts in tone as the light moves across it.

About this fabric
This 556 gsm velvet has a dense, close texture that gives the sage-green colour a softly shaded, tactile appearance. The photograph shows an uninterrupted plain surface, with no visible contrasting motif and a gentle variation where the pile catches the light. With 51.5 threads per cm, it has the substantial visual presence expected of a heavyweight upholstery velvet. Its 134 cm usable width and zero-centimetre pattern repeats make the plain colourway straightforward to position across upholstered forms.
How to use it
Use this cool, greyed sage green on a deep armchair, headboard or sofa where its softly reflective pile can add colour without becoming dominant. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass or natural woven textures to balance the velvet's luxe finish.
The muted sage-green velvet brings soft depth and a quietly luxurious finish to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with
Wardle Velvet Mumington`s Stem is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
