About this fabric

This 556gsm velvet has a substantial handle suited to upholstery, with an even, low-textured surface visible across the swatch. The olive-green tone is softened by its grey undertone, giving the colour a grounded, quietly atmospheric depth rather than a bright leafy character. It has a 134cm usable width and no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, making the plain design straightforward to position across upholstered forms. The fabric contains 51.5 threads per centimetre, contributing to the finely textured appearance seen at close range.

How to use it

Use this muted olive-green velvet on a reading chair, sofa or footstool where its deep, softened tone can sit alongside warm wood, aged brass and neutral upholstery. Its grey cast also works well with stone, mushroom and dusky green accents.

A weighty, softly textured olive velvet that brings depth to upholstered seating and occasional furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
