About this fabric

The colour sits between greyed sage and soft olive, giving the dense botanical pattern a quiet, natural depth rather than a bright green appearance. Pale leafy stems move across the velvet in a compact, all-over arrangement, with the textured pile adding subtle variation between the darker ground and lighter foliage. Weighing 488 gsm and measuring 135 cm in usable width, this substantial velvet is well suited to upholstery. The pattern repeats every 45.5 cm vertically and 22.5 cm horizontally, allowing the boughs to flow closely across upholstered surfaces.

How to use it

Use Mumington’s Stem on a reading chair, footstool or curved sofa where its cool sage-olive tone can sit against warm timber, oatmeal linen and muted stone shades. Its dense leafy repeat also gives a headboard a softly patterned, tailored finish.
