About this fabric

The close, even surface is free from a printed motif, allowing the deep terracotta colour and fine velvet texture to take precedence. At 556 gsm and 134 cm usable width, this is a substantial textile well suited to upholstered furniture. The fabric has a 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, making cutting straightforward for this plain colourway. Its construction is listed at 51.5 threads per cm, contributing to the densely woven look visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use Redhouse on a reading chair, sofa or footstool where its warm burnt-orange tone can anchor softer creams, tobacco leather, aged timber and muted olive accents. The plain velvet face also works well when a room already contains patterned curtains, rugs or wallpaper.
