Savannah

Solana FabricF8103

Savannah in Rust shows a bold zebra-style stripe across a warm cream ground, with jagged terracotta-red bands that give the pattern strong movement. The print reads earthy rather than bright, making the design feel grounded and lively at the same time.

About this fabric

Savannah (F8103) from Osborne & Little’s Solana collection is a 100% PP fabric with a substantial 605 gsm handle and a 40,000 rub test, making it well suited to upholstery. The 143cm width gives good coverage for larger pieces, while the large 174cm x 72cm repeat supports the scale of the jagged zebra motif. In this colourway, the terracotta-red pattern sits clearly against a soft cream base, creating a warm, sunbaked contrast rather than a stark monochrome effect. The woven surface appears firm and textured, with the motif breaking into irregular painterly edges that add energy and a slightly artisanal feel. It is manufactured in Italy and can be treated to meet BS5852 Match Upholstery requirements.

How to use it

Use Savannah to bring warmth and graphic impact to an armchair, ottoman or dining chair, especially against oak, walnut or aged brass. Its rusty terracotta tone works well with sand, tan and deep green accents for a layered, contemporary scheme.

Pair with linen-look plains and warm woods to keep the bold zebra stripe grounded.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Savannah without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
