About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is composed of 73% polyester and 27% cotton, with a 140cm width and an 8cm pattern repeat. In Santa Maria Spice, the repeated diamond lattice and compact inner motif are worked in spicy terracotta, brick red and muted rose against a pale beige background. The overall effect is warm and slightly weathered rather than bright, which helps the pattern feel settled and usable in a range of schemes. The woven surface has a tactile, tailored look that suits both soft furnishings and window treatments, while the small repeat keeps the design orderly across larger pieces.

How to use it

Pair this warm spice colourway with natural oak, aged brass and cream upholstery for a pulled-together look. It also works well as a patterned contrast beside plain linen, where the terracotta notes can lift otherwise neutral rooms.
