Porter & Stone

Chianti Indigo

Arezzo Fabric

Chianti Indigo pairs a creamy ground with scrolling botanical forms in layered indigo, slate blue and soft gold. The large-scale floral motif has a painterly, slightly faded finish that keeps it feeling fresh rather than heavy.

About this fabric

This Porter & Stone Arezzo fabric is a 140cm-wide textile with a 71cm pattern repeat, woven in 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The design shows oversized flowers and leaves in cool indigo, denim blue and greyed teal, lifted by pale gold highlights and outlined against a warm ivory base. Its surface reads as a printed or woven decorative cloth with enough body for upholstery, while the cotton-rich handle keeps the look from feeling too glossy. The overall effect is crisp and tailored, with the darker blue motifs adding depth without losing the lighter, airy ground.

How to use it

The cool indigo palette works well on accent chairs, dining seats or a bench where the floral repeat can be seen clearly. Pair it with chalky paint tones, pale oak and navy accessories to lean into the fresh blue-on-cream contrast.

Use on statement seating or deep cushions to show off the detailed floral repeat.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
