Porter & Stone

Arezzo Indigo

Arezzo Fabric

Arezzo Indigo has a softly painterly look, with layered trees and gentle washes of indigo, taupe and misty cream across the cloth. The overall effect feels calm and slightly weathered rather than vivid.

About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is composed of 92% polyester and 8% cotton, with a 140cm width and a 71cm vertical by 70cm horizontal repeat. The design reads as a sweeping, landscape-style floral with slender tree forms and clouded ground spaces, all softened by a muted indigo palette. Cool blue notes sit against warm beige and ivory areas, so the pattern has depth without becoming heavy. The surface impression is relaxed and decorative, with enough body in the weave to suit upholstery use.

How to use it

Use this indigo colourway on a chair, ottoman or blind where the broad repeat can be seen across the surface. It works especially well with chalky whites, stone shades and bleached timber, which keep the blue feeling airy rather than dark.

Pair with pale neutrals and natural wood to let the painterly indigo settle the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
