Arezzo Charcoal

Arezzo Fabric

Arezzo Charcoal has a soft, painterly landscape look, with trees and rolling ground picked out in smoky charcoal over a pale ground. The overall effect is airy and muted rather than dark, giving the design a calm, shaded quality.

About this fabric

This fabric is supplied at 140cm wide and features a 71cm vertical by 70cm horizontal pattern repeat, so the sweeping landscape motif can be planned carefully across larger drops or furniture runs. The composition is 92% polyester and 8% cotton, which suits the crisp printed detail and gives the cloth a practical, versatile feel. In this Charcoal colourway, the sketch-like trees and low horizon lines read as soft graphite and weathered grey rather than a heavy black, leaving the background light and open. The finish feels quietly tonal, with enough contrast to show the scene clearly while still keeping the palette restrained and easy to live with.

How to use it

Pair this charcoal-toned landscape with pale oak, limestone neutrals and brushed metal for a fresh, contemporary scheme. It works especially well on statement curtains, occasional chairs or a sofa where the soft grey drawing can be appreciated.

Use it for a calm, tonal scheme with layered neutrals and natural textures.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
