About this fabric

Printed on 100% cotton, this 150cm-wide fabric has a large 64cm vertical by 71cm horizontal repeat, giving the trailing leaf design a generous, rhythmic scale. The charcoal outlines and shaded leaf fills sit over a warm beige background, so the pattern reads sharp without feeling harsh. In the image, the tonal grey-black leaves have a finely striped, almost hand-etched texture that adds depth to the print. With care instruction NQT1< and no performance finish noted, it feels best suited to elegant decorative use rather than hard-wearing upholstery.

How to use it

Use Bryony Charcoal as drapes or statement blinds where the large leaf pattern can be seen from a distance. Its cool charcoal-on-sand palette works especially well with off-white walls, smoked oak and brushed metal accents.

Pair with pale timber and stone for a crisp, contemporary scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bryony Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
