About this fabric

Printed on a 50% cotton, 50% linen base, Abigail Damson has the relaxed handle and lightly textured look you would expect from a natural blend. The design shows branching stems, layered leaves and small blossom heads across a pale, linen-coloured ground, while the fruiting clusters add brighter notes of magenta, damson, red and purple. The 150cm width gives good coverage for larger furnishings, and the 64cm pattern repeat is substantial enough to create a clear, scenic rhythm across the fabric. Care is listed as NQT1<, so it should be checked against the maker’s guidance before use.

How to use it

Use it to bring colour to blinds, cushions or an upholstered accent chair where the cream ground can keep the look light. It pairs well with painted woods, warm neutrals and deep green accents that echo the foliage.

The creamy linen ground lets the berry and leaf colours read fresh and lively rather than heavy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
