Freya

Celesta FabricF8070

Freya brings a rhythmic geometric pattern to life in a soft, mineral-leaning multicolour palette. The ivory ground keeps the design bright, while the greens, aqua, lime and terracotta accents give it a fresh, contemporary energy.

About this fabric

Freya (F8070) from Osborne & Little’s Celesta collection is a substantial fabric at 681gsm, woven in Belgium from 92% viscose and 8% polyester. With a width of 137cm (54in) and a 25,000 rub test, it is well suited to upholstery and can also be treated for curtain use. The design shows a repeating diamond and stripe motif with a slightly raised woven texture that gives the pattern depth and a tailored feel. In this colourway, the palette reads soft and balanced rather than highly saturated, with cool aqua and sage tones lifted by fresh green and restrained notes of peach and orange.

How to use it

This colourway works well on occasional chairs, banquettes or cushions where the patterned surface can be the focus. Pair it with warm neutrals, pale timber and simple plains to let the soft multicolour weave stand out.

Use for statement upholstery where the lively palette can add colour without feeling loud.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
