About this fabric

Bluebell Embroidery is a dense velvet pattern set against a deep indigo ground, with curling russet foliage, pale cream flowers and small muted blue-green details visible across the swatch. The 806 gsm weight gives this textile a substantial upholstery-oriented presence. Its 132.5 cm usable width is organised by a 92 cm vertical repeat and 44.5 cm horizontal repeat, so the botanical arrangement remains a prominent feature when planning cuts. With a standard length of 35 m, it is suited to coordinating multiple upholstered pieces in the same colourway.

How to use it

Use the cool indigo ground as the anchor for an upholstered chair or sofa, then pick up the russet foliage in warm timber or leather accents. Cream details can lighten the scheme without losing the pattern’s deep, formal character.

Use the deep indigo ground to anchor upholstery, with russet foliage bringing warmth to the scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
