Walthamstow Rose/Nettle

The Unfinished Works Wallpapers WallpaperMOW0141-03

Walthamstow Rose/Nettle brings a warm cream ground to an ornate, symmetrical botanical design, with muted rose, sage-olive and terracotta details. The large floral medallion reads softly rather than sharply, thanks to the gently faded colour balance.

About this fabric

The pattern centres on a formal floral medallion, surrounded by curling leaves, small sprigs and fan-like terracotta blooms arranged in a repeating composition. Its cream background keeps the design light, while the rose markings add a dusty warmth and the sage-olive foliage supplies a subdued natural contrast. The wallpaper has a 68.6 cm usable width and a 54.9 cm vertical pattern repeat, with no horizontal repeat listed. Supplied at a standard length of 10.05 m and a weight of 130 gsm, it is suited to carrying this detailed repeat across a full wall.

How to use it

Use Walthamstow Rose/Nettle where its warm cream ground can brighten the room while the sage-olive leaves connect with painted joinery or upholstered accents. Echo the dusty rose and terracotta flowers in small accessories for a layered, gently vintage scheme.

Pair its warm cream ground with natural timber and muted sage or rose accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
