About this fabric
Nera is a substantial upholstery fabric woven in Italy with a width of 142cm and an impressive 80,000 rub test, making it well suited to hardworking seating. The composition of 52% CO, 24% PL, 13% VI, 6% LI, 4% WO and 1% PA helps give the cloth its crisp structure and textured handle. Visually, this colourway combines broad terracotta bands with teal and green stripes, broken up by pale neutral and dark accent threads that sharpen the pattern. The result is a rustic yet polished stripe with enough depth and weight to hold its own on chairs, benches and cushions. It is UK BS5852 cigarette compliant, with treatment options available to BS5852 match, BS5852 Crib 5 and BS5867 Part 2 Type B curtain standards.
How to use it
Use Nera where you want colour and texture to do the talking, especially on statement armchairs, ottomans or banquette seating. Its earthy red and blue-green palette pairs well with natural timber, aged brass and warm neutrals.
