Livenza

Livenza in this colourway reads as a softly muted, sage-toned stripe with earthy coral, gold and navy accents. The woven pattern has a fresh, relaxed feel, with the vertical bands giving the design a neat, tailored rhythm.

About this fabric

Livenza (F8111) from Osborne & Little’s Brenta collection is a substantial fabric at 535gsm, and its 30,000 rub test makes it well suited to hard-wearing upholstery. The 73% cotton, 15% polyester and 12% linen content gives the cloth a natural, slightly dry handle that suits the woven texture visible in the image. This colourway balances pale sage grounds with salmon, rust, ochre and deep blue stripes, so the overall effect is colourful but softened rather than bright. The repeat is a vertical 65cm pattern across a 131cm width, creating a strong linear look for sofas, benches or statement dining chairs. It is also UK BS5852 cigarette compliant, with further FR treatment available to meet match upholstery, crib 5 and curtain standards.

How to use it

Use this stripe on an accent chair, banquette or ottoman where the sage ground can calm the warmer coral and ochre notes. It works well with oak, painted white joinery and plain linens that echo the fabric’s easy, slightly retro mood.

Pair with warm timber and crisp neutrals to let the woven stripes feel fresh rather than busy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
