Eaton Plain Old Sage

Eaton Checks and Stripes FabricF2104-39

Eaton Plain Old Sage is a softly lustrous plain in a muted sage green with a subtle horizontal slub across the surface. The finish reads calm and natural, with a gentle light-catching movement rather than a flat, solid look.

About this fabric

Woven in 82% viscose and 18% linen, Eaton Plain Old Sage has a smooth, slightly fluid handle that is supported by the linen texture visible in the cloth. The colour is a pale, cool sage with an understated grey-green cast, giving it a restful, airy feel. Its 143cm approximate width and V 0cm / H 0cm repeat make it especially straightforward to use as a plain coordinating fabric. The fine horizontal striation and soft sheen give the surface depth, so it feels considered rather than utilitarian. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact cloth.

How to use it

Use this sage tone on occasional chairs, loose covers, or simple curtains where its quiet sheen can soften daylight. It pairs neatly with chalky neutrals, weathered oak, and brushed brass for a restrained, elegant room.

A calm sage with a gentle sheen that suits pared-back upholstery or soft drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
